Cultural activities
Culture and tradition reflects the ideas and beliefs of a particular society. Culture emphasis a common set of behaviour shared by people of a particular community and handed down generation after generation. Thus cultural activities like arts, music, folk songs and dances are a way to preserve and revive our culture and tradition which is gradually on the way to extinction. These cultural activities are an integral part of the college practices. They give the students an opportunity to exhibit their talent and creativity.
Cultural activities continue throughout the year in the college. Cultural programme is an important feature of Siraj Utsav held every year. An unprecedented tradition of celebrating the new year with the students was also initiated by the college in December 2018 which was liked and appreciated by all. In march 2019, Siraj Utsav a cultural program of the Central Students’ Association was celebrated with great pomp and show in which the students of the college participated enthusiastically.
The Annual Prize distribution function was also celebrated in March 2019. Old Students’ Association Program was celebrated in September 2019 in whichthe alumni of the college were invited and welcomed to be a part of the cultural show organised in their honour. In September 2019, the students of the college participated in the youth festival and took part in various cultural activities. In December 2019 college again organised the cultural activities to celebrate the advent of the New year. In March 2020, the central students association and annual prize distribution functions were celebrated with great pomp and show.
