Govt. Degree College Banjar has a career guidance and counseling cell, offering all kinds of counseling and career guidance activities. Career counseling is the systematic process of analyzing students’ strengths, interests, skills, and abilities, and mapping them with the right career options and education. Everyone requires career guidance at some point in their life. The career counselors link the attributes of a student to available career options to create a personalized roadmap. They also conduct one-on-one sessions to discuss various factors affecting choices in alignment with future prospects.

Career counseling helps students understand the career options they have and how to pursue them. It also helps them recognize their own strengths and weaknesses with regard to their present course or profession, and guides them towards suitable careers.
