The Government College Banjar, established in the year 1999, is committed to providing quality education in the field of arts, commerce and Science. The B.Com. (three-year) programme was initially affiliated with **Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla during the academic session 2002–03, and the first-year B.Com class started in the session 2008–09. At present, the programme is affiliated with Sardar Patel University, Mandi (Himachal Pradesh). The department focuses on subjects such as accounting, finance, economics, and business studies, and also organizes seminars, workshops, and financial literacy programmes to enhance students’ practical knowledge and career opportunities in business, banking, and entrepreneurship.
