About
The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of Government Degree College Banjar is an active student-led initiative dedicated to promoting health awareness and social responsibility among young people. Working under the broader framework of the Red Ribbon Club movement in India, the club plays an important role in educating students about issues such as HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, and overall well-being.
At GDC Banjar, the Red Ribbon Club regularly organizes awareness campaigns, seminars, rallies, and interactive sessions to spread accurate information and remove myths and stigma associated with HIV/AIDS. These activities not only inform students but also encourage open discussions, helping create a supportive and inclusive environment on campus.
The club also motivates students to participate in voluntary blood donation drives and adopt healthy lifestyle practices. Through its initiatives, members develop leadership qualities, teamwork, and a sense of community service.
Overall, the Red Ribbon Club of GDC Banjar stands as a platform where students come together to learn, serve, and contribute positively to society by spreading awareness, compassion, and responsible behavior.
